Wheels live a harder life than any panel: brake heat, hot metallic dust, salt, mud and oil. Ceramic Rims was formulated specifically for those conditions — a “liquid glass” ceramic with exceptional hardness, resistance to pH 2–11 and a coating thickness up to 0.8 µm, so routine wheel cleaning becomes quick and gentle.
Preparation decides durability here, so follow the method precisely.
How to use
- Work indoors at a minimum of 20°C. Prepare the wheel with SWAG Heavy Cut, then degrease twice with SWAG Final Inspect — the surface must be dry, cool and grease-free.
- Shake the bottle. Put a few drops onto a suede-wrapped foam applicator and apply to one working area (e.g. the wheel face) in a crosswise motion — vertical, then horizontal.
- After about 10 minutes, gently polish with a microfibre cloth to level the coating. Move to the inner barrel and repeat until the whole set is coated.
- Wait at least 3 hours (an IR lamp at 50–60°C for up to 10 minutes shortens curing), then apply the next layer. Recommended: 2–3 layers.
- Initial cure: 12 hours with no water contact. Full cure: at least 7 days — during this period rinse with water only, no chemicals.
Afterwards wash with pH-neutral or mildly acidic/alkaline products, and maintain the coating with SWAG Ceramic Reloader.
In the box: 1 applicator, 2 droppers for precise application, 6 suede microfibre cloths, 4 holographic certificates with an application-date field, and 1 high-gsm microfibre cloth with laser-cut corners.
