The Swag Ceramic System splits the job in two on purpose. Ceramic Pro Base is the foundation: a flexible ceramic layer that follows the bodywork through vibration and temperature swings instead of cracking against them. Ceramic Pro Top locks it in with an intensely hydrophobic finish. Together they reach up to 1 µm thickness, pH 2–11 resistance and up to 5 years of protection.
How to use
- Apply indoors at a minimum of 20°C. Paint should be scratch-free — polish first if needed (e.g. SWAG One Step Polish). Surface must be dry, cool and grease-free.
- Pro Base: shake, put a few drops on a suede-wrapped applicator, work a 50 × 50 cm area in a cross pattern (vertical/horizontal). Wait at least 4 minutes, then gently buff level with a microfibre cloth. Continue panel by panel.
- Wait at least 3 hours (or IR lamp, 50–60°C for up to 10 minutes) between layers. Recommended: 2–3 layers of Pro Base.
- Pro Top: at least 3 hours after the final Base layer, apply with a microfibre-wrapped applicator, same 50 × 50 cm cross pattern. Wait at least 10 minutes before buffing level. Recommended: 1–2 layers, 3 hours apart.
- Curing: 12 hours with no water contact; full cure after at least 7 days — rinse-only washing, no chemicals, during that time.
Afterwards use pH-neutral or mildly acidic/alkaline wash products and maintain with SWAG Ceramic Reloader.
