Ceramic Pro Top is the hydrophobic half of the Swag Ceramic System. Layered over Pro Base (sold separately), the two coatings crosslink into a 9H, liquid-glass shield up to 1 µm thick, resistant to pH 2–11 and rated for up to 5 years — while the flexible base keeps the coating tracking the body through vibration and heat. Applied on its own, Pro Top still delivers up to 2 years of hydrophobic protection.
How to use
- Apply indoors at a minimum of 20°C, on paint that is scratch-free (polish first if needed, e.g. SWAG One Step Polish), dry, cool and grease-free. In the system, wait at least 3 hours after the final Pro Base layer.
- Put a few drops onto a microfibre-wrapped foam applicator and apply to an area up to 50 × 50 cm in a crosswise motion — vertical, then horizontal.
- Wait at least 10 minutes, then gently buff with a microfibre cloth to level the layer. Continue panel by panel across the body.
- Wait at least 3 hours (or IR lamp at 50–60°C for 10 minutes) before the next layer. Recommended: 1–2 layers.
- Initial cure: 12 hours with no water contact; full cure after at least 7 days — rinse-only washing, no chemicals, in that period.
Afterwards use pH-neutral or mildly acidic/alkaline wash products and maintain with SWAG Ceramic Reloader.
