Some wheels are beyond a maintenance cleaner. Acid Wheel Cleaner exists for exactly those cases: the concentrated formula of selected active ingredients removes extremely stubborn deposits as the first stage of rim restoration — decontamination, manual cleaning, mechanical polishing, then a protective coating.
Respect its strength. It is suitable for steel and aluminium wheels with a lacquered finish, and polished rims only if they carry a clear coat. Always test on an inconspicuous area first: on damaged paint coatings it may cause oxidation of the surface. Note from the maker: the product may temporarily tint wheels pink (especially damaged areas) — this is not permanent and washes off after a few cleanings.
How to use
- Dilute to suit: 1:20 (50 ml per 1 L of water) for regular maintenance, up to 1:10 for heavily soiled wheels. Test first.
- Work in the shade on a cool surface; spray or brush on — lacquered wheels only, cautious around emblems. Do not let it dry.
- Wait up to 5 minutes, rinse the loosened dirt, then reapply and agitate with a brush.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfibre or blower.
