Some panels are beyond a medium compound: years of scratches, etched bird droppings, insect marks and stone-peppered bonnets. Heavy Cut V.2 was created for that level of degradation. Its PROGRESS ABRASIVE particles cover a wide abrasiveness range, delivering a consistent, relentless cut, while the LOW TEMP paste structure lubricates the work, carries heat away from the clear coat and keeps the polisher tracking straight.
Crucially, the aggression doesn’t come at the cost of the result. Despite its cutting power the paste maintains a high level of finish quality, and on many paints an aggressive One Step correction lands in a single pass. Whatever the pad — wool, foam or corduroy-style disc — the full abrasive potential is always on tap.
How to use
- Work in the shade on a cool, clean surface; shake before use.
- Apply a few drops to a cutting pad chosen for the correction type.
- Spread evenly over about 40 × 40 cm and polish with moderate pressure until worked in — rotary up to 1,500 rpm, DA as preferred.
- Degrease with SWAG Final Inspect and inspect; repeat if degradation remains.
If the paint gets too hot, wait for it to cool before the next pass.
